Physiology and Biochemistry (A3)

This module provides the fundamental principles of the physiologic mechanisms for feedback regulation of the circulatory, haemostasis, respiratory, kidney, endocrine, gastrointestinal, muscular and nervous systems in combination with biochemistry and molecular biology. Biochemistry topics will include the organic chemistry of biological systems and metabolism. This module provides a strong science basis for clinical dentistry and emphasises areas directly applicable to dentistry.
