Mitesh graduated in 1991 from Newcastle University and is a Clinical Tutor and Honorary Lecturer for the University of Warwick University Implant Masters and GIFT dental implant teaching programmes. He is also a Mentor for a major dental implant manufacturer and has lectured widely in the use of  the Wand, a computerised local anaesthetic delivery system. Currently he is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2004 he completed a 3-year postgraduate dental programme from Bristol University.

Mitesh has two dental practices with four Associates and 25 staff members. Both his dental practices were nominated as Dental Practice of the year nationally in 2003 and 2004. One is situated within the city of Plymouth and the other in Ashburton, which is where he runs his busy dental Implant referral centre. The dental implant centre has recently undergone major refurbishment and extension which has created a light and tranquil environment for patients and staff alike.
