Patient Referral System

The City of London Dental School requires suitable patients who wish to participate in a post graduate dental clinical training programme designed to develop and expand existing skills. As part of this programme graduate UK registered dentists have to treat a selected number of patients under supervision.

You may be a dentist with a referral patient or a potential patient considering treatment which may benefit from participation in the school's dental treatment scheme and, subject to suitability, possibly qualify for a free private dental consultation. Following the consultation, a suitable candidate will be invited to participate in the programme. Treatment may be provided by more than one dentist as part of a team.

In the event that a case is too complex for student treatment alternatives will be provided and advice given on the most appropriate treatment solution.

As care will be provided within an advanced training programme, the fee for treatment will be reduced from the usual level to just cover costs. This in no way reduces or limits the quality of treatment or care provided.

Please take the time to read and complete the relevant on-line application form below, together with our terms and conditions. If potential patients are unsure regarding any of the treatment options or terms they will have the opportunity to discuss these at the initial consultation which will normally take half an hour.

Thank you for considering participating in this educational programme and for sparing the time to submit an application. Your help is very much appreciated. As a participant you will receive the highest standards of care and service possible. All stages of your treatment will be supervised directly by a City of London Clinical tutor or specialist.

Please note all treatments will be provided at our Harley Street clinic so you should be willing to travel in order to participate. Please note also that no advice or treatment plans will be provided over the phone prior to a full assessment.

On submission of your completed on-line application you will be sent a confirmatory email and subsequently be contacted by one of our clinical team to arrange the details of the free consultation. Please ensure, therefore, to state which times are best for you to be contacted.
