David Rhodes

David qualified from Manchester in 1976 with a distinction and has since practiced dentistry in Manchester. He has been clinical director of the Chorlton Private Dental Practice since 1983 and introduced dental implants into his practice in 1991. David became involved in training vocational trainees for the Mersey Deanery in 2000 and in 2002 gained a Certificate at Masters level in learning and teaching in dental clinical practice from the university of Liverpool. David regularly attends implant symposiums and lectures by eminent practitioners in the field of implantology and believes that a total commitment to continued learning in this field is a prerequisite for successful and appropriate implant therapy. 

He gained his MSc from Warwick in dental implant dentistry in 2007 and is a regional Tutor. Additionally David is an honorary clinical teaching fellow in implant dentistry for the University of Manchester. Recently David has been nominated as a mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology. David has recently established a dental implant referral centre in Carlisle and currently spends his time running both the busy Manchester and Carlisle dental implant centres.
