Dr Shing Alexander Chu 

Alex qualified from the School of Dentistry at the University of Liverpool in 1975. He became a partner in a well known NHS group dental practice and two years later established his own private dental practice in Rodney Street, the historically renowned medical and dental professional street in Liverpool. While working in general practice, he became interested in dental implants, recognising that dental implant treatment is a crucial part of whole patient care. Over the years he participated in many training programmes and has gained invaluable knowledge and developed high quality clinical skills in dental implant surgery. He is committed to life long learning and professional development and is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology.

In 1982 he formed his own dental group of practices based in different locations within Liverpool. Alex has incorporated high quality advanced dental implant therapy together with other cosmetic procedures into his prestigious referral based private clinic. He was amongst the first in the UK to gain his MSc in implant dentistry from Warwick University. Alex is a Clinical Tutor and Honorary Lecturer for the University of Warwick Implant Masters degree programme.
