This multispecialty MSc is unique to dental education and The City of London Dental School as it can be tailored to a multidisciplinary speciality qualification covering all possibilities in a single step which is ideal for the general dentist involved in several specialist areas of dentistry. Dentists engaging in the delivery of multiple speciality treatment plans must be aware of their limitations ensuring that the treatments they provide are evidence based and appropriate.
The boundaries between what was traditionally delivered by the general dental practitioner and the specialist are becoming increasing blurred. With the advent of digital dentistry and the predictability of implantology combined with increasing patient demand for more advanced elective cosmetic procedures, general dentists are providing mixed specialist types of dental treatment.
This MSc Clinical Dentistry programme delivered by The City of London Dental School addresses these essential requirements by allowing you to assemble your very own master's programme by selecting those modules that best match your requirements.
After an assessment of your training needs with one of our guidance tutors you will be able select three modules from several optional modules and combine them with four compulsory modules to build a bespoke programme which will support your practicing ambitions.
This programme is intended to assist dentists gain the core knowledge and clinical skills essential for the safe delivery of competent, high-quality multidisciplinary dental care with predictable treatment outcomes. On completion of this programme you will be able to confidently treat and identify suitable cases within your scope of competency. Fees from £6,500 with bespoke options, discounts and financing options available that will be discussed during our virtual meeting.

Enrolment Process
Following completion of your application form you will be contacted by a course advisor who will discuss your learning requirements.
Once these have been ascertained they will be able to advise you of the fee and payment plans, if necessary, and assist you in the most appropriate learning pathway for your individual circumstances.
MSc Admissions Criteria
Entrants must satisfy the following entry requirements:
Normally at least two years demonstrable postgraduate clinical experience in clinical practice as a qualified dental practitioner.
For the MSc in Clinical Aesthetic Non-Surgical Interventions, entry will also be open to doctors, NMC registered nurses (prescribing) and prescribing pharmacists.
Current registration with the UK General Dental Council (GDC) General Medical Council (GMC), Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalents in another country.
Evidence of appropriate professional liability insurance/Medico-legal indemnity insurance as may be required for the designated clinical setting at an appropriate level.
Access to clinical practice setting that gives sufficient exposure to the relevant area of clinical specialism.
