Professor Chitta Ranjan Chowbury

Professor Chowdhury is the founding chairman of the Nitte University Department of Oral Biology and Genomic and adjunct clinical professor of oral surgery at University Mangalore India. He is a consulting dean of a community-orientateded dental outreach programme. He initiated Global University Alliance for under-served education. Currently he is president of the Indian Academy of Oral Biology and past-president of the UK Institute of Health Promotion and Education (IHPE). Dr Chowdhury is a visiting professor at Osaka Dental University and BPP University and is also a stakeholder in the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE, DoH). He is also a consultant to the Global Child Dental Health at Kings College London. He was enlisted as oral surgeon in GDC and an examiner of RCSEng. He won a number of grants of SIDA, JSPS etc. Professor Chowdhury is extensively published having written six books including, “Handbook of Oral Cancer Screening and Education which is recommended by the British Dental Journal http://www.nature.com/bdj/journal/v210/n9/full/sj.bdj.2011.380.html .
Clinically he is involved in oral surgery and general dental practice and teaches about oral cancer and systemic diseases of oral concern. He has developed several new courses and guiding PhDs.
Dr Brian Franks

Dr Brian Franks is a facial aesthetic clinician and the clinical lead for the MSc in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics at the School of Medicine and Dentistry University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). He is the founder & principal of Dr Brian Franks Facial Aesthetics Faculty Training Courses.
He is a Bachelor of Dental Surgery of the University of London, a Licenciate of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of England, has a post-graduate Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice of The Royal College of Surgeons (UK) and is a Fellow of The Pierre Fauchard Academy, which is by invitation only and is limited to ethical dentists who have made a significant contribution to the profession and the community. Brian is also an associate of the Charterd Insitiute of Arbitrators and member of The Expert Witness Institute.
Brian has been appointed a member of the Health Education England Cosmetic Non-Surgical Interventions Expert Reference Group (ERG) and is a member of the Independent Healthcare Advisory Services (IHAS) and the TYCT Governance Board. Brian is also an experienced lecturer and teacher in the cosmetic and dental community.
Dr Kashif Hafeez

Dr Kashif Hafeez is a member of Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and has a special interest in oral surgery and dental implantology. He has been honoured with Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He has completed his postgraduate certificate in medical education from Oxford Brookes University. He has been a post graduate dental foundation trainer with Oxford Deanery since 2010. He lectures internationally on oral surgery and dental implantology.
Dr M Sumair Khan

Dr Sumair Khan is a patch associate dental dean and a Lecturer for the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he is involved in training postgraduate dentists for their membership exam and the overseas registration exam. Dr Khan completed a Masters Degree in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick in 2008 and has become a mentor for postgraduate dentists in Implant Dentistry. He was awarded a Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2011.

Dr Aziza Eldarrat

Dr. Aziza Eldarrat is an Assistant Professor and Consultant in Restorative Dentistry, and holds a PhD degree from Leeds University, UK. Dr. Eldarrat has been awarded the Peter Wilson Prize and Gold Medal of Excellence in Research, Leeds University, UK; Best Research Project Award of FDI Annual World Dental Congress, Mexico; Emirates Foundation for Research Grant Award, Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Eldarrat’s clinical experience in the field of dentistry expends over 25 years, and is an expert academic and examiner for dental degrees. She is a founding member of the Dental Department in one of the biggest teaching hospitals in Libya and the College of Dentistry, University of Sharjah.
Dr. Eldarrat has been actively involved in many research areas, of which the sealing ability of obturation materials; diabetes mellitus; the new dental applications of ac-impedance spectroscopy and ultrasound. Dr Eldarrat is a co-supervisor of a PhD degree, the dissertation is titled “Sealing ability of root filling materials using new sealer and different obturation techniques and fracture resistance of over-flared filled root canals: in-vitro study”, the dissertation is nominated for the best thesis award in Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia for the year 2013. Dr Eldarrat recently published a Book Chapter in Research on Diabetes, has many publications in international dental journals, presented many research papers in national and international dental conferences, member of many scientific dental societies and a reviewer for dental journals.
